Getting Started

Migrator is a system that automates the process of importing data from other CMS systems into the Quintype platform. The migration pipeline has the following stages

Analysis

The initial analysis to understand the data and the structure of your existing 3rd party CMS systems, this step helps us to prepare and estimate the work ahead, see Analysis for more information

Creation

This step involves preparing and putting your data together, from your 3rd party CMS to a standard format as required by the Quintype platform, this discusses the creation of the Intermediate Format

Validation

Once the intermediate files are created according to the previous step, it has to be validated using the Quintype Migration Validator, so that we know the files are valid and ingestible by the Quintype platform

Migration

This is the final step of the process, the intermediate files that are generated & validated are fed as inputs to the Quintype migrator application, this step is discussed in detail here in Migration
