What is bundle subscription

Bundle subscriptions are the subscription made with plans that are bundled on the partnership account. In other terms, the plans in different account can be bundled together and purchasing the plan from primary account will create subscription in the partnership account as well with the bundled plan.

The publisher has to contact Quintype’s support team with the below details of the plans they want to bundle together

Accesstype account name or account id of each account
Plan id of each account

How bundle subscription works

• When the user purchases a plan(which is bundled with secondary account) from primary account will create a subscription in primary account
• The user will be created in secondary account as well with the subscription with secondary bundle plan
• Invoice will be created only with primary account
• User will not be charged anything for the subscription created in secondary account

How bundle works with different type of subscriptions

Currently the below combination of plans will work as bundle subscription

• The duration of primary account subscription will be applied to the secondary account subscription. Which means , the secondary account subscription will be active as long as the primary subscription is active despite the duration of secondary account subscription plan.
• When the primary account subscription is cancelled/expired, then the secondary account subscription will also get cancelled/expired at the same time.
• The subscription can be cancelled only from the primary account.
• Secondary subscription will not get the option to cancel and renewal.

Switching Bundle Subscription

Switching subscription with bundled plan in it will work exactly the same as switch subscription feature. Switching with proration disabled will schedule the plans to switch and will be in pending state.
